International Women’s Day (IWD) is on Sunday, March 8, 2026. It is a day to celebrate the achievements and tremendous contributions made by the women of the Saint John Police to our organization and to the community we serve.
This year’s theme of IWD is “Give to Gain”; encouraging the mindset of generosity and collaboration. It is a reminder to all that when support, encouragement, opportunity, and recognition are given, everyone benefits.
“Our female members embody resilience, innovation, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Their contributions drive our success while inspiring everyone to strive for greater heights. The Saint John Police are proud and honoured to be part of an environment where everyone’s talents are recognized, their voices are heard, and their potential is fully realized. Together, we celebrate their achievements and support their journey towards even greater accomplishments.” Chief R. M. Bruce
Together a safe, secure, healthy community
