File: 26-620014
The Saint John Police arrested a 35-year-old woman in possession of a stolen vehicle within five minutes of receiving the call.
It is reported that:
On March 3, 2026, at approximately 2:39 a.m., a report was made to police that a 2016 grey Dodge Ram had been stolen from the caller’s driveway on the west side of Saint John.
Officers on patrol observed the stolen vehicle on Chesley Drive heading towards Main Street in the north end. The officers lost sight of the vehicle but began searching the general area.
At approximately 2:43 a.m., an officer noticed a truck parked on Durham Street with the dome light on and a woman, the sole occupant, exiting the driver’s side of the vehicle. At this time, the officer determined that it was the stolen truck that had been reported and arrested the 35-year-old female for possession of stolen property. The female was brought into custody and later released on a future court date.
