Arrest in Drug Trafficking Investigation

The Saint John Police Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit (I.E.U.) have made an arrest following a drug trafficking investigation.  

On December 17, 2025, the IEU arrested an individual without incident. Following his arrest a section 11 Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant was applied for, and judicial authorization was granted for a residence within Saint John.   

As a result of the investigation, the following evidence was seized: 

  • Cocaine- 87 grams 
  • Crystal Meth- 350 grams 
  • Canadian Currency $9, 210 
  • Scales 
  • Cell phones  

A 29-year-old male will appear in court on December 18, 2025. The male is charged with the following offences: possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine and proceeds of crime over $5000. 

The Integrated Enforcement Unit (I.E.U.) consists of officers from the Saint John Police, Kennebecasis Regional Police Force, New Brunswick Justice and Public Safety and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.  Their mandate is to target drug trafficking, weapons, and organized crime offences.
